The ATS BREAKAWAY CABLE SYSTEM is a lightweight, highly versatile system of inter-compatible cable harness components. Utilizing the finest ultra flexible 4 pair shielded cable, lightweight durable polycarbonate quick release multipin connectors, and Black/Gold XLR’s, I have been making and improving this cable system since 1989 and it is being used by the hardest working camera crews in Washington DC and around the world.
Note that ALL shields are maintained as separate circuits.
It is this feature that allows us to offer a 4 pair snake option.
COMPONENTS:
A - Camera End - Left / Right audio + Head Phones + Intercom (EFP/ITCM Option) - Includes our own strain relief cable hanger for camera handle.
A-DV - Camera end for MiniDV Cameras includes two stereo miniplugs. One for audio input from mixer, one for headphone return.
B-Breakaway Connector with pull action release ring.Breakaway at camera end only on ENG Cable.
C*-Extension Cable. 4 Pair (Included w/ EFP version, Option w/ ENG version).
D*-Mixer End - Left / Right audio + Tape Return + Intercom (EFP/ITCM Option).Available for most mixers with XLR or multipin connectors. Includes clip on strain relief for mixer bag.
